Power Project ran a Make Your Own Clamp workshop on Saturday 14th February, 1-4pm, as part of the Livesey Exchange Open Day 2017.

This women’s workshop taught skills in metal bending, tapping threads, spraying and finishing. Sugru very generously sponsored this workshop and provided the perfect material for colourful and ergonomic handles and stops.

Power Project’s workshops attract a wide range of people and warmly welcome those making for the first time. 21 participants left with their own clamps for use in making activities, in the home and at work. With each workshop we aim to expose people to a range of manufacturing processes through making.
